30th June 2018 will see the return of our two gravity karts in the Welton Soapbox Derby
The annual event will be held in the Village of Welton, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 2JP
45 kart entries will battle it out to see who can descend the High street in the quickest time and more importantly can make it one piece along the 600mtr course.
Categories:
– Fastest Run Time in each age group category: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place(s).
– Best Creativity across all categories.
– Winners Podium Ceremony at 17:00 on Race Day.
CONSTRUCTION:
All vehicles must be no more than 2.0m wide, 5.0m long, and 2.5m Tall. Chassis must be at least 10cm off the ground. Vehicles (excl driver) must not weigh more than 80kg.
Best viewing point :
The hairpin – just after the steepest point of the hill where karts will enter at well over 30MPH. Guaranteed thrills and spills
